DON’T JUST SET GOAL, ACHIEVE THEM

How many times have we formed our new year resolutions but never accomplished them.

We all set our goals and work towards it. Often it is seen that at the beginning we are very enthusiastic and upbeat about achieving then but gradually that enthusiasm dies down.

It is mostly because we are not motivated enough to achieve them.

This is one common problem I face with almost all my coaching clients. They find it difficult to stay motivated to achieve their goals.

Luckily, there are different strategies you can use in order to motivate yourself to work towards the achievement of your goals.

  1. Set your own goals. Make sure that the goals you set are your own and not someone elses. Working for goals set by someone else is like an uphill task, since it is not something you aspire for.
  2. Use affirmations. Whenever you feel like giving up tell yourself things like

. By taking small steps consistently, I will achieve my goals.

. No matter what the challenge is, I will sail through it.

. Everytime I fall, I will pick myself up.

  1. Create your “yes but” list. List down all the reasons why you think you can’t achieve your goal and counter it with a but.

Example The reason I can’t achieve my goal is I am not too experienced in my field .

Response Yes I am relatively new, but I am a keen learner and this will help me do really well.

The moment we address our fears and knock them down it turns into positive and motivates us.

 

By implementing these small tips my clients were able to see a shift in their mindset and work towards their goal with much more enthusiasum.
